OPSC OCSE 2023 Eligibility
A candidate eligibility requirements for Group A and Group B posts in OCSE 2023 are as follows.
Education Qualification:
1. The candidates must have graduation from State or Nationally Recognized University or a Deemed to be a University under section 3 of UGC.
2. Candidates must be able to speak, write and read Odia language and must have passed in Odia as a language subject, in the Middle School, in the HSC, or a test in odia in midle English school standard conducted by School and mass education department by Govt of Odisha.
Age Limit:
1. The candidate’s age should fall between 21 and 38 years old.
2. Suitable age relaxation for various eligible categories as mentioned in advertisement
Total number of attempts:
(a) 06 for general candidates
(b) 09 for SEBC candidates
(c) No such limits for SC and SC candidates

1. Preliminary Exam Pattern
Multiple Choice Questions are part of the screening test called Prelims.
Two two-hour exams (Paper 1 & Paper 2) will comprise the test.
Paper 2 is qualifying in nature, and in order to sit for the main test, students must have a score higher than 33%.
One-third of the total mark is deducted for incorrect answers.
2. Mains Exam Pattern
There are two sections to the primary written test for OPSC OCS. Sections One and Two.
Part 1 qualified candidates in Odia and English language; the grades earned in these subjects do not go toward ranking.
The merit list will contain the candidates’ marks from Part 2 for Papers I through VII.
Each paper will take three hours to complete.
3. Final Interview
The commission calls in the candidates for a personality test after they pass the main exam for OPSC Civil Services recruitment.
Necessary instruction to be followed before applying for OCSE-2023
- Applicants are required to apply online through OPSC website only.
- Applicants are first required to go to the OPSC website www.opsc.gov.in and register himself or herself by clicking on Login and Apply Online.
- Applicants are required to have a valid Email ID and Mobile Number for registering and creating login credentials.
- After creating login credentials, applicants need to login with these credentials and are required to fill their complete information by clicking on Profile Creation Link. This is one time profile which applicants need to fill and it will be useful to the applicant for all subsequent advertisements of OPSC. Applicants can update their profile information anytime.
- Applicants should carefully fill all the information as asked in Profile and SAVE it.(save button).
- Completed profile is mandatory to proceed to Applying for available job postings.
- The applicants are required to upload the images of recent photograph, signature and left thumb impression.
- a. Size of the photograph (passport size) (Max size–150 KB)
- b. Size of the signature (Max size–150 KB)
- c. Size of the Thumb impression (Max size – 150 KB)
- After login with credentials, applicant can see active advertisements under Online Application Link. “Click Here” to apply link is available next to active advertisements after login.
- Applicants need to click on “Click Here” to apply link to apply for the advertisement.
- On clicking on “Click Here” to apply link, system checks applicant’s eligibility with respect to eligibility criteria required for the advertisement. If applicant does not fulfill eligibility, appropriate message of ineligibility is displayed by system.
- Only the application of applicant fulfilling eligibility conditions will be accepted by system.
- Applicants must ensure all relevant fields in the application are filled before final submission, since editing after final submission will not be possible.
- If candidate wants to resubmit the application then s/he can cancel the application in my application and then can reapply before last date of the application.
